As an Administrative Supervisor at Ryerson, you will be responsible for providing varying levels of support while managing and directing administration activities at the Eldridge, Iowa, facility.

Roles and Responsibilities



    • Ensure the integrity of branch inventory by investigating and resolving discrepancies related to physical inventory.
    • Manages physical inventory reports and monitors physical inventory counts.
    • Purchases office, safety, and warehouse materials, as needed.
    • Review location data and reports using SAP, Cognos, and Power BI.
    • Manages and directs administrative activities, including facility reception, training and compliance, operations scheduling, and logistics planning.
    • Facilitates onboarding, converting, and training of all employees.
    • Monthly SOX Reporting.
    • Processes hourly employees' payroll and partners with agencies regarding temporary employees' payroll and payroll issues.
    • Drives continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Manage special projects, as directed by GM.



Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • 3-5 years of administrative experience.
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience in an office setting
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Knowledge of ISO policies, procedures, and work instructions as outlined by the ISO 9001 Training Matrix.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
