Position Summary:

The Press Operator I is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining molding equipment to ensure the production of high-quality parts. This role involves setting up machines, inspecting molded products, performing routine troubleshooting, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The operator is expected to follow all safety, quality, and production guidelines and report any concerns that may impact operations.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Set up and operate molding equipment according to specifications.
  • Monitor the molding process through repeated inspections to ensure consistent product quality and production output.
  • Troubleshoot basic molding issues to maintain optimal performance.
  • Identify and report any safety concerns or barriers to production, quality, or safety.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and cleanliness in the assigned work area.


This is not a remote position.

Must Have:



  • High school diploma or GED, or three to five years of related experience/training.
  • Willingness to complete the Operator training program.
  • Ability to safely push/pull molds without causing harm to equipment or tooling.
  • Capability to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive movements.
  • Basic understanding of equipment function and safety procedures.
  • Exposure to production environment materials such as oils, lubricants, silicone, and latex.


Good to Have:



  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or molding environment.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills for molding and machine operation.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Effective communication skills to report issues and collaborate with team members.
  • Familiarity with safety practices, including hazard identification and reporting.


Work Environment & Safety:



  • Work is performed in a production environment with moderate noise and potential exposure to heat and humidity.
  • Employees must adhere to all safety protocols, including PPE usage.
  • Training will be provided for accident reporting, emergency evacuation, and maintaining a safe workspace.
  • All safety concerns or unsafe conditions must be reported immediately to a supervisor.
