Overview Element has an opportunity for a Senior Engineer to join our Polymer Materials Testing Team at our Houston TX location. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer with a strong background in Polymer Science and Material Testing to lead and manage customer-facing technical projects. This individual will serve as a key interface between our customers and internal teams, ensuring accurate interpretation of technical requirements, effective quoting, and timely delivery of test results and reports. Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 yearly DOE Responsibilities This is a hands-on role and will require physical work in the lab. It also requires project management of multiple simultaneous projects ranging from a few days to 6 months in duration. * Manage technical customer projects from quotation through report delivery Skills / Qualifications This is a fast-paced environment, and we need someone who is proactive, self-motivated, a critical thinker, and a team player. The person for this role will be a specialist in their field, respected by all who they work with, keen to learn and enthusiastic in the face of a challenge. You will: * Bachelors degree in Engineering, Material Science, Polymer Science, Chemistry or related field Work Environment: * Standard working hours with some flexibility based on project deadlines. NOTE: This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status under 8 U.S.C. * 1324b(a)(3), or U.S. Government export authorization is required. Any offer of employment is contingent upon the employer obtaining the necessary export authorization, including, if required, an export license from the U.S. Department of Commerce's Bureau of Industry and Security, the U.S. Department of State's Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, or other applicable government agency.
