Itron is a global leader in energy and water resource management, and we're looking for a highly motivated Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Specialist to join our team. Job Duties & Responsibilities

As an FP&A Specialist, you'll be a key contributor to our financial success. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Business Partnership: Act as a trusted financial advisor to our Global Managed Services (GMS) organization, providing critical insights and support for their strategic initiatives.

  • Financial Management: Own and optimize the financial budget and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.

  • Performance Analysis: Prepare, analyze, and present comprehensive financial results, including detailed forecast packages, P&L flash reports, and month-end close entries.

  • Actionable Insights: Deliver impactful analysis of trends, variances, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to management, enabling informed decision-making.

  • Reporting Excellence: Develop and deliver insightful monthly reporting packages tailored for business unit owners.

  • Model Development: Build and maintain robust analytical models to assess cost rates and drive efficiency.

  • Process Improvement: Proactively identify and lead initiatives to enhance financial processes and improve gross margin performance.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Contribute to and support various cross-functional business projects, lending your financial expertise.

  • Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conduct timely and accurate ad-hoc financial analysis to address evolving business needs.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience: 3+ years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).

  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (for modeling, analysis, and data manipulation), PowerPoint, and Word.

  • Collaboration: A strong desire to contribute, collaborate, and thrive in a dynamic team environment.

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent practical work experience.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Power BI knowledge

Location: This is a hybrid position based out of Liberty Lake, WA, requiring on-site work two (2) days per week.

Travel: 0-10%.

Physical Demands: This is a typical office role with no special physical requirements.

Liberty Lake, WA: The base salary for this role is $75,000 - $141,000.
