Position Title: Receiving Associate Wage: $18.00/Hour Shift: 1st Shift Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Monday - Friday Ready to take charge of the shipping process? We're hiring a Receiving Associate to help keep operations running smoothly! Receiving Associate Responsibilities: - Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship) - Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store) - Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits - Use computer systems to manage shipment information, track inventory levels, and print labels - Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization - Report any discrepancies to management - Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers - Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations Requirements for Receiving Associate: - High school diploma or equivalent - Proven working experience as a warehouse worker or shipping associate - Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods - Proficiency in using computer systems for data entry and inventory management - Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery - Good organizational and time management skills - Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Experience in a manufacturing or production environment - Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures - Basic understanding of inventory management systems - Excellent communication skills and a team player attitude QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
