Duties and Responsibilities
This role is responsible for addressing the communication needs of the Molecular Pharmacology and Neuroscience department at Loyola University Chicago. The candidate should be able to translate scientific research into lay-friendly materials for a wide variety of audiences. Duties include making educational videos, designing websites for laboratories, and otherwise promoting the cutting-edge research being carried out in the department.
Minimum Education and/or Work Experience
Minimum Education:
Required: Bachelors Degree
Preferred: Masters Degree Specify Degree(s): Biological or physical sciences
Minimum Experience:
Required: 1-2 years of previous job-related experience
Preferred: 3-5 years of previous job-related experience
Qualifications
-Good verbal and written communication skills in English
-Ability to finish tasks in a timely manner
-Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and established procedures
-Ability to maintain accuracy and consistency
-Ability to work effectively in a team
