Assembly Mechanic

Acara Solutions is seeking an experienced Assembly Mechanic for a full-time, permanent position in Tonawanda, NY.

This position offers an opportunity to work hands-on assembling custom-built machinery used worldwide. You'll work closely with a team of assembly mechanics to assemble new equipment using diesel engines, steering axles, hydraulic components, and more. On-the-job training will be provided for specific assembly procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble machinery using diesel engines, drive/steering axles, hydraulic pumps/motors, and 12V electric controls
• Integrate components onto fabricated chassis to create self-propelled paving/shouldering machines
• Follow mechanical and technical instructions and collaborate with other team members
• Perform additional shop duties as needed, directed by the foreman
• Regularly lift up to 75 pounds

• Competitive Pay: $25.00 - $34.00 per hour (based on experience)
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM with occasional overtime available

Required Qualifications

• 10 years of mechanical experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with heavy equipment or machinery assembly
• Familiarity with diesel engine systems and hydraulic components
• Prior work in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Technical/vocational training in mechanical assembly
