Temp - Accounts Receivable

We have an immediate need for a well-organized individual to join our team as a Temp Accounts Receivable Assistant. This position will require you to be in the Jersey City office 3 days per week, excluding Fridays for approximately 5-7 hours per day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with cash applications and payment posting
• Process security deposit refunds accurately and in a timely manner
• Perform resident account adjustments as needed
• Support deposit accounting, including analyzing move-out statements, reconciling charges, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and lease agreements
• Utilize Yardi Systems to manage and track accounting data
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure accuracy

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience using Yardi Systems (required)
• Working knowledge of deposit accounting, including reconciliation and tenant ledger reviews
• Strong communication skills with excellent follow-up
• Personable and team-oriented
• Experience in multifamily residential real estate is preferred but not required

Compensation: $30p/hr-$40p/hr
