Drive Enbridge's digital transformation by leading and standardizing Software Development and Infrastructure-as-Code strategies, especially in cloud computing. This role within Enterprise Platforms & Delivery will define development tools and processes for TIS teams across all North American business units.

What You Will Do:

  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership to assess, mature, standardize, and scale Enbridge's software development tools.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with multi-functional teams, including marketing, IT, and customer service, to ensure alignment with Enbridge's technology strategy.

  • Development and Maintenance: Support the development & maintenance of multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with pivotal initiatives such as Microsoft Azure adoption and Enbridge's Cybersecurity program.

  • Standard Processes: Promote secure development practices and contribute to the adoption of infrastructure-as-code and cloud-native services.

  • Team Engagement: Facilitate the Developer and Operations Community of Practice by managing communication channels and encouraging knowledge sharing.

  • AI-Augmented Development: Lead the adoption of AI-powered development tools and practices, including GitHub Copilot, to enhance developer productivity and code quality across TIS teams.

Who You Are:

  • Experienced Professional: You have over 10 years of experience in IT roles with a focus on software architecture and application development. 5 years of hands-on experience designing and building custom applications using modern cloud technologies and deployment models.

  • 3 years' experience implementing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Azure ARM, Bicep, Ansible, Jenkins, Puppet, or Chef.

  • Cloud Expert: You hold Microsoft Azure certifications and have hands-on experience designing and managing Kubernetes-based platforms. 3+ years of experience with GitHub administration and advanced features (GitHub Actions, GitHub Enterprise, etc.).

  • DevOps Practitioner: You have applied DevOps practices and used automation tools to support continuous integration and delivery within Agile SCRUM environments.

  • Collaborative Phenomenal Teammate: You collaborate closely with multi-functional architecture teams and work with vendors to support the implementation of solutions

  • Innovation Mindset: You embrace emerging technologies and AI tools to enhance development efficiency, with experience in prompt engineering and AI-augmented coding practices.
