Electrical Reliability Engineer

Our Team

We improve the GRID reliability to make outages less frequent and of shorter duration.

What You'll Do
  • Analyze data trends to identify trends and patterns to drive decisions aimed at improving reliability metrics including SADI, SAIFI, CEMI, SELID, and CAIDI
  • Ensure all regulatory filings are submitted accurately and on time
  • Keep the entire organization informed of system and regional reliability in a timely and accurate manner
  • Ensure accurate and reliable reliability data by overseeing the collection, validation and use of the information contained in the database
  • Identify key drivers of poor reliability performance to drive well-informed asset management decisions and programs
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and provide actionable recommendations
  • Create automated workflows and dashboards for regularly checked metrics
  • Lead reliability meetings to drive data driven decisions
  • Maintain databases for contacting appropriate parties during outages
  • Create dynamic dashboards to enable more self-served driven decisions
About You
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required
  • 3+ years of electrical engineering experience required
  • Knowledge of industry standards, electrical systems and best practices in reliability engineering required
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Python, Excel) required
  • PowerBI preferred
  • Valid driver's license required

Salary

$105,000 - $124,000 a year

This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills.
