CNC 1ST Berlin - CNC Machinist- Level 4

Immediate Opening: 1^st Shift Machinist for Berlin Facility

AVNA is a well-established, successful, growing and highly regarded manufacturer of precision stamped and machined components and assemblies. We are seeking a highly motivated machinist to run production in a high volume manufacturing environment.

Job Purpose:
This position will be responsible to run production and assist with maintenance and continuous improvement. Must be organized, detail-oriented, able to follow multi-step processes, easily take direction, able to proof and check own work for accuracy and correct mistakes. A high degree of accuracy is necessary.

Duties:

• Ability to set up and operate CNC multiple machines and run high volume production
• Ability to load, offset adjustments and change tooling
• Higher mechanical aptitude
• Proficient in CNC machining
• Ability to read blueprints
• Inspect product to specification per supplied Inspection Instruction Sheets, read calipers, micrometers, dial indicators and other supplied gages
• Ability to edit programs in MasterCam

• Knowledge of GD&T
• Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Documents actions by completing logs; adjusting specifications.
• Provides training & mentoring to all operators and aspiring machinists

The opening is for 1^st shift.

1^st shift Hours are from 7 AM. - 3:30 PM. Monday - Friday, overtime as required
