Job Title: Employee Benefits Specialist
Department: Employee Benefits About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Employee Benefits Administrator to join our Employee Benefits team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the administration of our employee benefits programs, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for our employees. Key Responsibilities: * Administer day-to-day operations of group benefits programs (health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, FSA, HAS, defined benefit and contribution plans, etc.) * Serve as a point of contact for employee benefits inquiries, providing timely and accurate information * Assist with benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations in HRIS and vendor systems * Audit retirement plan contributions for compliance with policies and regulations * Support compliance with federal and state regulations * Facilitate new hire orientation and follow up messaging to ensure enrollment in appropriate benefit plans * Responsible for benefit orientation, retirement plan management and audits, ensuring compliance * Administer pension and 457 plans including employee education, enrollments, audit and upload funding files, etc. * Maintain procedures for all retirement related functions. Qualifications: * 1-3 years of experience as an employee benefits specialist. * Experience administering retirement benefits is a big plus. * Personable, proactive and able to work in a fast-paced environment. * Experience working with self-insured health plans, defined benefit and defined contribution plans. Details: * Pay: $25 - $30/hr. based on related experience * Pay cycle - weekly | medical, dental & vision benefits offered * Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8-hour shift between 8:00am - 5:00pm (40 hours per week). * Training will be fully onsite for 2-3 weeks and then the position will move to a hybrid schedule. * Hybrid Schedule (after training): 3 days onsite, 2 days work from home. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
