Employment Status: Full Time / Year Round Wage Range: $46,000-52,000 DOE Minimum Age: 21 Background Check Required: Yes Driver Verification Required: Yes, expected to obtain a class C CDL with passenger endorsement Position Summary: To provide the overall supervision and direction for the Children's Center, licensed childcare facility, and associated programs including Schweitzer Adventure Camp and ski lesson program for ages 4-6years old. Supervises front desk sales staff, childcare workers, ski instructors, and camp counselors. Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities: Contribute to the overall vision, direction and implementation of Children's Center programs by performing the following:
Number of employees supervised: 25-30 Specific Job Skills: License/Certifications - Driver's license required, qualify and be willing to obtain class C commercial driver's license with passenger endorsement Technical - Computer, Windows-based computer programs including Word, Excel, Publisher, Power Point, Outlook, Teams, and Brightwheel app as well as our Point of Sale system. Physical Capabilities - Able to work 2 hours of paperwork (sedentary) per shift and 6 hours of combined walking /standing/ kneeling/ bending/ spinning activity. Will lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 40 pounds rarely. Intermediate skiing preferred. Additional - Ability to prioritize and delegate, excellent communication skills, both oral and written; excellent people / relationship building skills; ability to inspire staff; detailed, accurate, organized and great attitude required. Love of children and their parents required. Education/Related Experience: Minimum education required - Bachelor degree with early childhood development focus preferred Minimum time in related position - 2 years related childcare experience preferred. Supervisory or management experience preferred. Cash handling and bookkeeping preferred. |
