The International Tax Manager is responsible for the following:




  • Manage international tax planning and compliance projects, including technical research, project execution, implementation, and coordination with outside advisors, reporting to the International Tax Director.


  • Help lead the global OECD Pillar Two provision and compliance effort by coordinating cross-functional teams across Accounting, Tax Accounting, Legal, and Consolidation to ensure alignment with Pillar Two rules; oversee data collection and support the execution of annual compliance in a licensed Pillar Two calculation engine.


  • Partner with cross-functional teams-including Accounting, Business Development, Income Tax Accounting, and Treasury-to provide international tax support on transactions and operational initiatives.


  • Oversee international compliance activities related to FCA US's U.S. tax return, including managing the process with external advisors who prepare Forms 5471, 8858, and related international tax forms and computations (e.g., foreign tax credit, GILTI, FDII, and BEAT), based on inputs and data provided by the U.S. international tax team.


  • Assist in identifying, researching, and implementing international tax planning opportunities and deferral strategies for FCA US and its global subsidiaries.


  • Analyze international tax items for budgets, forecasts, and provisions related to FCA US's non-U.S. entities, and provide detailed support to Income Tax Accounting.


  • Support IRS audits involving international tax matters, including document preparation and issue resolution.


  • Assist with legislative tracking, modeling, and analysis of proposed changes to international income tax rules.

Basic Qualifications:




  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance


  • 10+ years of finance or accounting related work experience
  • 6+ years of U.S. international tax experience


  • 2+ years of supervisory experience


  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) to support tax analysis, documentation, and reporting processes.


  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, including effective communication, analytical thinking, and project management, to drive cross-functional initiatives.



Preferred Qualifications:




  • Master of Science degree in Taxation, or a Juris Doctorate degree


  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)


  • 2+ years of experience in a large multinational corporation or Big 4/public accounting firm


  • Familiarity with OECD Pillar Two modeling and implementation
