As an Applied Scientist II working in the OneNote team, your core mission is to deliver high quality AI-scenarios for Copilot Notebooks. You'll be responsible for measuring the impact of models and working with other Applied Scientists to design AI-powered experiences. We are looking for candidates who are creative, self-motivated, & have a learn-it-all mindset. This opportunity will allow you to work in an exciting and fast-paced environment, collaborating closely with product teams and ship products globally. You'll have access to the latest models, and research techniques that can be leveraged to advance your Applied Science skills. ResponsibilitiesGenerate synthetic datasets for high quality data curation used in model evaluation and/or fine tuning. Implement the evaluation techniques and metrics to measure the impact of the latest models on product scenarios. Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to ship scenarios powered by AI. Stay current with the latest advancements and bring ideas to the product teams. Foster a healthy and inclusive team environment, provide technical guidance via knowledge sharing sessions. Apply strategies provided by senior team members and incorporate state-of-the-art research. You'll also develop an understanding of methods used in the community and gain expertise in a deeply specialized area. | |
