Position Overview:

The Calibration Coordinator II is an advanced technical and coordination role requiring greater autonomy and expertise. In addition to coordinating day-to-day calibration efforts, you'll be expected to identify opportunities to improve value-added services for clients, resolve technical issues, and help technical team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule calibration and maintenance tasks; coordinate with clients and internal teams.

  • Order parts and manage inventory logistics.

  • Perform data entry and reporting within the CMMS system (e.g., Maximo).

  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of calibration activities.

  • Act as a liaison between PCI and the client for calibration tasks.

  • Perform basic calibrations as needed.

  • Track and deliver inventory, materials, and instruments.

  • Support storeroom and purchasing activities.

  • Coordinate test standards per procedure requirements.

  • Provide technical guidance on calibration and troubleshooting issues.

  • Identify and fill gaps in technician or standards availability.

  • Write or revise SOPs as needed.

  • Assist with defining instrument specifications.

  • Support CMMS training for new associates.

  • Enhance PCI's value-added services through creative and effective solutions.

  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Understanding of calibration fundamentals, accuracy testing, and traceability.

  • Proficiency in CMMS systems and Microsoft Office suite.

  • ERP/MRP system experience (preferably Maximo).

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

  • Familiarity with FDA/cGxP documentation requirements.

  • Experience in identifying inconsistencies in data or workflow and initiating resolution.

  • Understanding of quality systems and audits.

  • Ability to work proactively with minimal supervision.

Education & Experience:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent military training.

  • 4+ years of applicable calibration and maintenance experience in an ISO or cGMP manufacturing environment.
