Requisition ID# 166421 Job Category: Government and Regulatory Relations Job Level: Individual Contributor Business Unit: Corporate Affairs Work Type: Hybrid Job Location: Oakland Department Overview The Corporate Affairs Compliance, Risk, and Operations team provides a critical component of the work done within Corporate Affairs ensuring proper corporate governance and compliance in the deployment of resources to further the Company's strategic objectives. In addition to the Compliance, Risk and Operations team, the Corporate Affairs department consists of our Local Public Affairs, State Government Relations, Federal Affairs, Community Relations, Corporate Sustainability, Regulatory Proceedings and Rates, and Regulatory Relations organizations. The Compliance, Risk and Operations team manages political engagement compliance and reporting, the charitable contribution application and reporting functions, contracting and supplier diversity, membership organization investments, and the department's ethics, compliance and risk functions. Position Summary The Political Engagement and Governance Expert works to ensure full compliance, company-wide, with all laws and regulations regarding federal, state and local campaign finance, government ethics, gifts to government officials, lobbying disclosure and reporting, and charitable giving behest rules. In coordination with Director, Compliance, Risk and Operations oversees the political law compliance system, including the development of policies and procedures, covering regulation of State Government Relations, Local Government Affairs and Federal Affairs and across the enterprise for hundreds of jurisdictions across multiple functional areas, administration of governance and solicitations for PG&E's two employee political action committees (PAC), and outside counsel activities, including developing advice and recommendations to ensure compliance and develop political compliance training programs. Work in close coordination with Political Engagement and Governance Representative. A reasonable salary range is: Bay Area Minimum:$129,000 Bay Area Maximum:$207,000 This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and working from the Oakland General Office based on business needs.
