Join Enbridge as a Records Advisor - Drive Excellence in Records Management for Critical Gas Transmission Projects

We are excited to welcome a Record Advisor onto the team who will play a key role in supporting leadership and providing guidance to Records team members in standard methodologies for reviewing and processing records in accordance with our Records Management IMS Process and governing document standards. This is more than a support role- it's a strategic position that ensures accuracy, integrity, and compliance for records critical to our Gas Transmission projects.

Our newest team member will play a key role in managing records in the maintenance, storage, and eventually disposition stages of the records lifecycle and will collaborate across departments and provide hands-on support to ensure project records are complete and aligned with business needs. Your ability to have a high-level understanding of project scopes and recognize the documentation required for various work activities will be essential to your success. What you will do:

  • Provide support to leadership in planning and scheduling work activities, reviewing governance documents, completing record reviews/approvals and supporting other activities as necessary
  • Provides mentorship to the team, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and alignment with organizational goals
  • Complete annual Assurance Activities
  • Assistance with SharePoint Team site management
  • Manage record information requests & lead research activities
  • Interacts with upper management or external customers
  • Leads research activities to meet compliance and/or regulatory requirements (i.e. PHMSA or CER audits)
  • Takes lead in migration or large record intake project activities and provides direction & support to junior team members
  • Inputs and/or Updates Project & Record Data into electronic record repository when required
  • Participates in System User Testing as required
  • Participates in special projects as needed

Who you are:

You have:

  • 5+ years of directly related experience within Records Management, Document Control or Quality within the Oil & Gas or Construction industry along with a bachelor's degree. For candidates who do not possess a university degree, an additional 3-years of related experience is required

You can:

  • Show that you are a standout colleague who works collaboratively and possess a customer service mentality
  • Offer strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities in addition to records lifecycle knowledge

You are:

  • Proficient working with office computer applications such as the Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint

The following are considered assets:

  • Experience working with Power Apps

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 25 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
