Job Profile:Communications Specialist
Job Duties:
This position is responsible for independently planning, coordinating, and implementing various communications, outreach, and event strategies designed to support the department's strategic priorities; while working closely with other college, department level, and UW Foundation communication professionals. The communications Specialist will help the department engage with a variety of communication modes including websites, video, print and social media, and provide initiative to embrace emerging communication trends. This position requires an understanding of the needs and interests of the department's stakeholders and the ability to work with a variety of internal and external constituencies.
