Job Description: Maintenance Supervisor Huntsman is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor supporting the Maintenance Supervisor Division located in Rock Hill, South Carolina. This position will report to the Maintenance Supervisor. Job Scope Supervise maintenance technicians and execute the maintenance schedule In summary, as the Maintenance Supervisor, you will:
- Ensure that planned jobs are understood by self and the maintenance technicians performing the work (this includes the hazards involved and the measures needed to complete the work safely). Ensure that the work permitting process is properly followed prior to performing any work. Develop work packages that identify the activities and tasks, sequencing, resources, durations, parts and materials, outside services, specialty tools or equipment, operations readiness tasks, permitting requirements, and job safety requirements necessary to complete a work order.
- Prepare the schedule of work activities to execute the completed work packages according to the assigned priorities and due dates in a manner that maximizes resource utilization. Set clear expectations for performance and accountability and give feedback to maintenance technicians. Regularly seek feedback from site customers to ensure customer expectations are understood and met. Promote an open positive accord in meetings and when interacting with other associates
- Ensure that all materials / parts / tools needed for each job are readily available to the maintenance technicians performing the work. Ensure that the maintenance technicians are actively engaged in performing assigned work and assist with workflow and prioritizing as needed.
- Provide direct supervision of the maintenance field activities to ensure work is completed as planned according to Hunstman procedures and standards within the required scheduled time. Record actual work performed, hours, and status of each job for completion of schedule.
- Control costs to remain within budget by controlling overtime, external resources and prioritizing, but also realizing when priorities and customer needs require the additional resources. Ensure that contractors performing work inside the plant comply with all site EHS policies, coordinate the mobilization and demobilization to/from the job site, satisfactorily complete the approved scope of work, process any change requests, and ensure any support needs from the site are provided. Responsible for the development and execution of contracts to ensure compliance with corporate purchasing requirements, that all terms and conditions are met, invoicing is processed, and the contract is properly closed.
- Promptly report any safety issues or delays that may arise to customers and management when work is being performed. Communicate irregularities, premature failures and repeating failures to the Reliability Engineer, and assist with trouble shooting / RCA efforts.
- Propose equipment and work process improvements to improve safety, environmental, reliability, and costs.
Qualifications You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

- High School Diploma or Equivalent with 7+ years of related experience or
- Associate's degree with 4+ years of related experience
