Your role

As a Supply Chain Professional, you will be at the forefront of optimizing our organization's procurement, supply, and logistics operations. Your mission is to drive efficiency and innovation by managing the end-to-end supply chain process, from sourcing materials to delivering our engineered to order centrifugal compressors to our customers. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering a high-performing team culture focused on continous improvement and operational excellence.


You will play a critical role in ensuring our supply chain operations are not only efficient but also resilient and sustainable. Join us in revolutionizing our supply chain, pioneering new solutions, and making a lasting impact on both our organization and the broader community.


As the Sourcing Manager, you will report to the General Manager.


You will:



  • Leadership & Team Development: Mentor and grow the sourcing team, foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, and partner with HR on talent strategy.
  • Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute sourcing strategies for key components, onboard qualified suppliers, and lead cost-saving initiatives.
    Operational Excellence: Ensure timely procurement for complex projects; resolve supplier issues; monitor market trends and adjust sourcing plans.
  • Risk & Compliance: Manage supplier risk, ensure compliance with trade regulations and ethical sourcing, and develop contingency plans.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering and Project Management to align sourcing with design and execution and report KPIs to leadership.
  • Sustainability & EHS: Promote sustainable sourcing practices and ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards.

To succeed, you will need

  • You have at least 8 years in a strategic sourcing role and at least 3 years working in a leadship role with direct reports.
  • You have strong negotiations, contract management, and supplier development expertise.
  • You are proficient in SAP ERP (or similar) and data analysis tools such as Excel and PowerBI.
  • You demonstrate strong expertise in risk mitigation.
  • You are willing to travel up 25% domestic and internationally to visit suppliers, attend trade shows, and visit other company sites.
  • Experience with high-value, long-lead-time comonents and gases-related supply chains is preferred.

Job location

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely up to two days a week and being on-site at our manufacturing faciltiy in Voorheesville NY, United States (US).
