Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC handles end-to-end warehousing and distribution logistics needs utilizing our strategic network of storage facilities. We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the management team in daily operations, enhancing customer satisfaction, and driving sales performance. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a commitment to fostering a positive work environment. The Assistant Manager will oversee staff training and development, ensuring that all team members are equipped with the necessary skills to excel in their roles.

Duties

  • Supervise daily operations and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in managing inventory levels, pricing strategies, and sales management initiatives.
  • Conduct employee orientation and training development programs to enhance team performance.
  • Collaborate with management to implement effective marketing strategies aimed at increasing market presence.
  • Foster a positive team environment through effective team management and communication.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback to promote professional growth.
  • Ensure that the workspace is organized, clean, and conducive to productivity.

    Experience

    • Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role is preferred.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
    • Experience in sales management or retail operations is advantageous.
    • Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele.
    • Proven track record in employee training and development initiatives is highly desirable.

    Pay Range:

    $55,000 - $65,000 per year

    *The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
