The Subsurface Reservoir Technologist plays a pivotal role in managing and innovating data workflows, acting as a key liaison between technical teams, and driving the adoption and maintenance of advanced Reservoir and geoscience solutions. This role emphasizes hands-on data management and project stewardship in the areas of Exploration, Outside Operated projects, Geochemistry, EOR efforts, and new ventures, ensuring that data-driven insights and operational excellence are achieved across geoscience and reservoir teams. Key Responsibilities: Data Management & Innovation
- Oversee and continually improve the processes for loading, formatting, and storing reservoir, geological, and geochemical data, including both automated and manual data loading into specialized software environments.
- Maintain and optimize Snowflake data tables, ensuring data integrity, accessibility, and innovative approaches to data storage and management.
- Understand and manage the transfer and formatting of data from labs to Snowflake and Spotfire, ensuring seamless integration and usability for technical teams.
Project Management
- Maintain and build Aeries cases to characterize exploration portfolio for onshore US and international projects, as well as company wide outside operated (OBO) projects.
- Lead the management and ongoing maintenance integrated geochemistry, geothermal, and critical mineral projects.
- Integrate maps, shapefiles, and data from Kingdom into Arc, ensuring all geospatial projects remain current ("evergreen") and support business objectives.
- Oversee well imports, updates, and the overall health of ArcGIS projects.
Technical & Software Skills
- Petroleum economic modeling software tool such as Aries, MOSAIC, PEEP, PHDWIN.
- Apply advanced data management tools such as SQL, Access, snowflake.
- Utilize and support key software platforms, including ArcPro/ArcGIS, Kingdom, and Spotfire (optional).
Reservoir & Analytical Skillsets
- Aggregate and interpret large, complex datasets from multiple sources to generate actionable insights for reservoir and geoscience teams.
- Build and quality control reports and meta-data, applying statistical and analytical tools to support decision-making.
- Leverage oil and gas industry experience, with familiarity in planning, forecasting, reserves, and accounting vernacular.
- Experience or willingness to learn python, SQL, snowflake, and Access database skills are highly encouraged.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Math, Physics, Geography, Geology, Graphics, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in geology, geosciences, oil and gas exploration, mining, or related fields.
