What You Will Do:
This position will primarily be responsible for providing safety and limited environmental support to the Odessa Manufacturing Plant. Position will require occasional weekend /evening call-out in the event on an emergency. Drive Goal Zero culture and initiatives. Conducts safety assessments in the Plant to identify and detect existing or potential risk, incident, and health hazards, determines corrective or preventative measures where indicated, and follows up to ensure measures have been implemented and completed. These include project JSAs, safe work permits, risk assessments, and PPE assessments, etc. Ability to educate and train workforce on health, safety and environmental policies and standards as required by company policy, customer requirements and regulatory bodies. Leads or participates in the investigation of near misses, environmental spills and incidents that did or could have resulted in an injury or a release of material to the environment. Work with team to develop Root Cause Analysis (I.e., TapRoot, 5-Why). Performs quarterly IH sampling. Based on results recommends changes to working conditions to ensure all employees have a safe and healthy working environment. Participates and/or coordinates PSM and RMP program activities including MOC/PSSR meetings, creating and updating operating procedures, and PSM / DHA assessments (What If, HAZOP, etc.) for covered processes. Participate in Management of Change process and implementation. Ensures compliance with OSHA, NFPA, EPA/TCEQ, DHS, and DOT regulations. Advanced knowledge of two or more of these regulations is required. Compile and analyze HSE statisticsandincident reports. Issue monthly reports to SHE Manager. Preparation of different types of HSE reports as needed in PowerBI / Microsoft Office. Gather data and/or prepare reports / RCA on safety incidents and Process Safety Events Active participation in TPM. 5S Assessment / Audits. Participate in Plant safety / ISO audits and ensure compliance. Execute Continuous Improvement and savings initiatives Partners with employees, management and Front Line Leadership. Implement and maintain company HSE documents adhering to local, state and federal environmental, health and safety regulations. Requires the ability to exercise independent judgment and employ basic reasoning skills. Other duties as required. Maintains confidentiality of all matters.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety or other relevant degree with 3 years HSE experience with heavy environmental knowledge or equivalent experience. Professional certification in HSE (ASP, CSP, OHST). Two to four years of relevant experience in manufacturing or field service in the oil and gas industry.

Physical Demands:
Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical exam Must have Ability to climb stairs and ladders Must be able to lift and carry 15 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. Employee is required to work in a plant environment which may include inclines, uneven surfaces, and a variety of weather conditions. Employee must be able to regularly bend, stoop, crawl, lay down, twist and push. Employee is required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment including but not limited to shoes/boots, hard hats, safety googles / glass or respirators.
Work Environment:
Some work is accomplished indoors and in air conditioned or well-ventilated facilities. Work normally is executed in an office equipped with a telephone and computer. Work will be in a plant environment. This will require frequent visits in the plant a variety of weather and temperature conditions.
