The Assistant Foreman Maintenance is responsible for assisting in the coordination and supervision of day-to-day operations of asset integrity, planning, and preventative maintenance personnel and environmental operators. The role assists in driving reliability, predictive, and preventative maintenance programs for all production facilities. The role participates in safety meetings, conducts safety inspections, and promotes a culture of safety among maintenance teams. The role assists in monitoring equipment performance, identifying areas for improvement to optimize reliability and efficiency, and provides technical support to maintenance personnel, troubleshooting equipment issues and ensuring proper maintenance procedures are followed. The role is pivotal in providing strategic oversight and technical expertise to ensure the safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of facilities. * Supervises environmental and asset integrity operators, master data maintainers, and planner schedulers in their day to day work. * Assists in ensuring the safe, economic, and environmentally sensitive preventative maintenance of all rotating and related equipment in the business unit in accordance with standards and regulations. * Supervises and coordinates daily maintenance related tasks, ensuring efficient and compliant field operations in line with safety and environmental standards. * Assists in ensuring compliance of the leak detection and repair program as well as other state and federal inspections such as Method 22's and AVO's. * Promotes best practices, resolving issues, and developing staff to ensure safe, ethical, and effective work practices and understands/ applies all organization policies related to maintenance and ensures others comply with these policies. * Assists in the development and oversight of the asset integrity program in the business unit. * Ensures compliance with all applicable state/province and federal regulations, maintains regulatory compliance, and applies company policies throughout the team's operations. * Assists in developing maintenance schedules and plans to ensure equipment, machinery, and facilities are properly maintained and operational. * Guides and mentors the team, actively contributing to employee selection, performance management, compensation management, career development, and overseeing operational processes. * Possesses the right and obligation to stop work if unsafe conditions exist or are suspected and demonstrates and promotes safe and ethical behavior at all times. Education: * High School Diploma/General Education Diploma (GED)/Higher Secondary education and/or commensurate work experience is required. Associate's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or any other related discipline is preferred. Experience: * 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in E&P Operations specializing in areas such as Control, Design, and Operations of Oil & Gas Facilities and Lease Operations with Maintenance Responsibilities or a related field. Industry experience is preferred.
