Overview

**We're looking for candidates who are within a commutable distance to one of our locations: Nashville, TN; Fort Wayne, IN; Roseville, MN; Littleton, CO; or Las Vegas, NV**

The Accountant will be responsible for reviewing transactions related to our manufacturing process including but not limited to material batching, production batching and job close as well as communicating with others in the organization related to these transactions.

Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, this position will play a key role in our daily accounting operations with a focus on maintaining accurate and timely transaction-level information. In addition to transaction-level responsibilities, this role may handle accounting for various month-end responsibilities including processing journal entries for if which will require additional research and detailed calculations.



Responsibilities

    Assist with inventory and job-related operational activities, including review of inventory batches, material batches, production batches, and job close batches.
  • Effectively communicate with the operational teams and other departments to ensure accuracy of job-related costs
  • Attention to detail, ensuring that all work is accurate, thorough, and completed to the highest standard.
  • Adhere to month end deadlines to ensure we meet our internal and external financial statement requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with Company policies and procedures, including Sarbanes-Oxley internal controls requirements.

Qualifications

  • Experience with the requirements of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and the COSO internal control framework.
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
  • Ability to focus on transaction processing with strong attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance or relevant related work experience.
  • 1-2 years of accounting experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills - comfortable utilizing sumif, lookup functions and pivot tables.

Physical Demands:

  • This position requires; ability to work from home, reliable high-speed internet access (hotspot not acceptable), dedicated distraction-free home work environment.
  • Hours are minimum 40 hours per week during company's regular business hours however evening and/or weekend work may be required as job duties demand;
  • Work is in a typical office environment; prolonged sitting required (1-2 hours at a time);
  • Position may require minimal travel by car and/or plane
  • Work is primarily conducted sitting in a remote office environment
