Job Title: Engineering Manufacturing Technician What You'll Do: As an Engineering Manufacturing Technician, you will support the manufacturing process by assisting engineers in the development, testing, and optimization of manufacturing procedures and equipment. You will work closely with engineering teams to ensure efficient production and high-quality output. Functions: Assist engineers in the development and implementation of manufacturing processes and procedures. Set up and operate manufacturing equipment and machinery, following established protocols and safety guidelines. Conduct tests and experiments to evaluate manufacturing processes, identify areas for improvement, and optimize efficiency. Monitor production processes, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure quality and productivity. Collect and analyze data from manufacturing operations, documenting observations and findings for review by engineering teams. Assist in the assembly and testing of prototypes and pilot runs, providing feedback and input to engineering teams. Maintain cleanliness and organization of manufacturing work areas, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Required Qualifications: Associate degree or technical certificate in Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field. 1- 3 years of experience in manufacturing or a related field (entry-level position). Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work effectively in a team environment. Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety. Preferred Skills: Internship or co-op experience in manufacturing or engineering. Familiarity with CAD software and engineering drawings. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Experience with manufacturing equipment operation and maintenance. Certification or training in relevant manufacturing processes or technologies. #ZR |
