We have an opportunity for a Production Analyst to join our Delavan, WI team. You will lead and coordinate projects along with process improvements across all levels of the organization working with Production Control Analyst/Coordinators, Finished Good Buyers and Planners, Product Managers, Sales, and Customer Service. They are responsible for ramp up and ramp down projects, E&O analysis, quarterly planning parameter review and other reporting as requested by management. As an individual contributor, the Analyst will evaluate inventory positions to recommend/initiate actions based on component availability and customer service objectives to minimize the risk of obsolescence and excess inventory. The position also works with a variety of teams to ensure that deadlines and schedules are met and thereby preventing line stoppages and delays to maintain a high level of customer service.

You will:

  • Coordinating phase in and phase out of components/FG's to support build schedules working directly with Planners, Coordinators, Buyers, Product Managers, Engineering, etc.
  • Tracking, analyzing and reporting out of E&O and blocked stock. Working with a variety of teams in reducing excess and obsolete material within Pentair.
  • Updating and reporting out of OTD reports.
  • Quarterly parameter/material master review (Safety Stock, Lot Size, Lead-time, MRP Groups, Item category, etc.) addressing with Planners and Buyers as needed to support appropriate customer service levels.
  • Setting up and changing of material master data targeted for implementation deadlines and turning from product.
  • Understands and ensures material availability for BOM and engineering changes working closely with Product Managers to develop activities/processes that will lead to continually improving customer service, inventory, quality, OTD and reduction of E&O.
  • Supports all affected Platform's strategic and operational planning activities. Assists in developing, implementing and maintaining appropriate processes to ensure a productive planning process resulting in implementable strategic plans.
  • Applies knowledge and expertise, analytical skills and creative thinking to modify or adjust processes or approaches to best meet needs and objectives.
  • Resolve routine and unusual production problems related to materials usage and availability by proactively identifying problems and taking the lead for resolution.
  • Research situations and obtain input from others to ensure fact-based solutions and answers to technical and operational problems.
  • Utilize analytical skills to present recommendations on how to achieve inventory objectives.
  • Monitors on-time delivery to meet and exceed Customer service metrics and analyze performance gaps related to production lines. Works with Operations and Distribution on long term solutions.
  • Lead projects and task forces, and provide technical support when analysis is required. This role would include being a leader in implementation and working with other team members.
  • Analyze proposed changes in operations and assess the impact on inventory position. Develops information for and prepares special and recurring reports and studies relating to the specific areas of responsibility for management use.
  • Serve as the principal contact and key interface with Pentair businesses and functions regarding the activities listed above.
  • Ensures thorough familiarity with company policies and procedures. Appropriately apply policies and procedures in compliance with government laws.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Operations, Materials, or Supply Chain.
  • 1-3 years' experience in Production and Inventory Control, Operations, Purchasing or Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering
  • Advance ERP knowledge - SAP S/4 HANA system requirements strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical aptitude and communications skills.

Compensation

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $61200 - $113600 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs.This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as, annual incentive bonus.
