This position is located in Cincinnati, OH and requires 2 days/week in the office. Candidates are required to interview in-person at the nearest Worldpay office. Candidates must relocate to Cincinnati within 90 days of employment.

What you'll own as the DevOps Senior Software Engineer - AWS/Cloud

You will be responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet our customers' needs. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software engineering and will work with developers and engineers to ensure that software development follows established processes and works as intended. The DevOps engineer will also help plan projects and be involved in project management decisions.

  • Maintain & automate our AWS infrastructure via Terraform and Pulumi

  • Experience in containerization technology (e.g. Docker, EKS).

  • Setup, build and manage CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub actions, kpack and XLDeploy)

  • Providing technical support/consultation to development teams.

  • Understand the team objectives and make sure that the team are on the path to achieving the Sprint / PI Goals.

  • Participate in code reviews, retros and demos

  • May be responsible for developing or executing project plans, budgets and schedules and for documenting work and results.

  • May deliver informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical and business groups to internal and/or external audiences.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

  • Minimum 2 years of professional work experience as a DevOps / Cloud Engineer

  • Experience in K8s (containerization technology) & Terraform (infrastructure as code).

  • Experience in AWS infrastructure management and automation

  • Experience in one or more coding/scripting languages (ReactJS, C#, Python, Bash)

  • Experience in working with Both SQL, NoSQL databases using PostgreSQL, MongoDB

  • Linux System Fundamentals

  • Experience with CI-CD automation and deployment

  • Knowledge around monitoring, alerting & logging (Splunk)

  • Experience in Configuration Management (Ansible)

  • Certification is a plus (in Cloud / IaC / Containerized Applications)

  • Experience with WebLogic

  • Experience MS IIS

As a DevOps engineer, you will be primarily responsible to maintain & automate our AWS infrastructure via Terraform. You will be working with an agile team to deliver products and change requests of the highest quality whilst proactively identifying improvements and enhancements on the platform.
