How you will make history here...

This role will be directly responsible for specific accounting tasks and processes, while being cross-trained in tasks and processes not directly responsible for. A successful candidate will be highly motivated to learn, well-organized and flexible.

Critically important to this position is:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

  • The ability to interact well with a diverse set of team members;

  • A continuous improvement mindset (identifying opportunities, proposing solutions and executing corrections);

  • Taking ownership over tasks and processes in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure; and

  • A strong attention to detail.

What you will do...

  • Prepare journal entries for accuracy and in a timely manner during close.

  • Prepare account reconciliations for accuracy and quality.

  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly deliverables related to balance sheet and P&L analysis.

  • Prepare certain statutory filings and payments.

  • Assist with researching new accounting standards (i.e. revenue recognition and lease accounting).

  • Assist with internal and external audits through coordination of requests and implementation of follow-up actions.

  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities within the department and execute change.

  • Partner with the Corporate Controllers group, the Division Finance teams, and functional counterparts to complete ad hoc reporting and analysis.

  • Draft and/or edit relevant end-to-end process flows or desk-top procedures.

  • Interact with outsourced staff responsible for certain month-end close tasks processes.

What you will bring to the table... (Must Have)

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.

  • 0-3 years of relevant accounting experience required.

  • Working knowledge of US GAAP and SEC requirements.

  • Highly motivated and proactive in problem solving required.

  • CPA certification or pursuit of certification preferred.

  • Relevant industry experience preferred.

  • Ability to work flexible hours to meet deadlines and business demands preferred.

  • Experience with SAP and/or Blackline a plus.

  • Experience with outsourced accounting services a plus.

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between

$50,400-$72,500

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
