Job Purpose

This role will support dept/division by overseeing all aspects of Experiential service shop activity, departmental inventory for the shows and events group along with inventory for PR events including full servicing of units, while also focusing on supporting PR and shows events, and attending 2 and 4 wheel powersports events, furthering customer engagement activity through technical support.

Key Accountabilities

  • Warehouse management and service shop maintenance. Responsible for all maintenance of east coast fleet of PR and Events motorcycles, ATVs, SXS, and Power Equipment products. Responsible to implement a system to establish timelines to ensure products are ready to be loaded for events on specified dates. Responsible for selecting, ordering, and installing accessories on any units for PR and demo events along with new models for advertising shoots. Responsible for insuring that service shop and warehouse are kept up to expected safety standards.
  • Logistics management (All activity regarding requesting and reviewing transportation from varied vendors, selected trucking agency, while also organizing and setting up pickups for units loaned to vendors, influencers, and endemic media outlets).
  • Providing on location event support and various events across customer engagement departments.
  • Technical Support. Provide Technical support for PR Events, Shows, and Photos Shoots. This includes traveling to these events and working on site to maintain and repair products.
  • Work with west coast shop to insure Customer Engagement needs are met.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience or 8+ years equivalent PSP/Industry work experience
  • Powersports or automotive technical certification or equivalent experience
  • Powersports dealer, OE, or aftermarket supplier experience required with atleast 3 years or is as professional mechanic
  • Advanced mechanical knowledge and ability to conduct maintenance and troubleshoot problems on all 2 and 4 wheel PSP products in the fleet
  • 2 and 4 wheel on road and off road riding experience recommended
  • Successful applicant should have familiarity of 2 and 4 wheel PSP business and marketing, including overall product knowledge of the Honda line-up and a good understanding of competitor's products
  • Must be able to safely load and unload motorcycles, ATVs, and SXS onto trailers to ensure safe delivery to location
  • Must be able to operate a forklift to load and unload units from trucks
  • Prior event coordination/attendance/execution preferred
  • Great verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Working Conditions

  • Physical mechanical work required daily
  • Some multi-day travel required including weekends
  • Many events will be outdoors in all weather conditions with long hours required
  • Team member will need to be able to assist in setting up displays, loading and unloading trucks, and moving units to various locations at event site
  • Team member will provide service to units requiring heavy lifting and working on dirty/muddy vehicles both in the service shop andon-location at events
