Position Summary:
The ERP Business Analyst, Principal position will be part of ERP Business Analyst Sr team that is responsible for defining, gathering, implementing business requirements and supporting business users. This position requires expert level knowledge on followings business areas:
- Process & Lean Manufacturing, Product Data Management, Inventory Management, Shop Floor Management, Forecasting, Demand Planning, DRP, MRP & MPS, Material & Capacity Planning, Product Costing & Manufacturing Accounting, Quality Management, Procurement with the ability to integrate to the other ERP or 3rd party software. Partnership with Supply Chain Excellence team for defining future state of the company planning.
- ERP Implementation experience in performing business requirements & fit-gap analysis, prototyping/proof of concepts, retrofitting of modifications, system configuration, data conversion & integration testing, regression testing, system health check, user training & development of functional design documents.
The position requires analytical skills and the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical users. Serve as trusted business partner and advisory to deliver thought leadership concepts, embrace opportunities in digital transformation and collaborate tightly with business & internal IT. Thoughtful leader in providing business functional solution with the help of integrated ERP system.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- The individual will be responsible for (but not limited to) leading and guiding the ERP Business Analyst team and functional consultants to analyze, design, document, test and deploy business requirements.
- Analyze Business Requirement Document and design and prepare functional specifications for the system solution
- Adhere to project timelines, prioritize workload, and effectively communicate project status and discuss outcomes.
- Collect business requirements, perform feasibility analysis, find gaps, define scope and design
- Work with Upgrade, Migration, Integration projects as required.
- The individual needs to provide guidance or assistance to ERP business Analyst team and adhere to SLA and regularly help in day-to-day resolution of the business/system/user issues using internal service request ticketing system.
- Meet and coordinate with technical analyst/department managers to develop solutions to business problems understanding the nature of the problem for resolution.
- Acts as a liaison between end users and development teams, ensuring that technology is installed or configured in a way that supports business objectives and meets user needs.
- Collaborate with Business Leads & Subject Matter Experts and Business Owners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments daily to maintain positive communication/interaction.
- The individual needs to create or maintain detailed design documentation for business processes, functional specification and define system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding.
- Follow SDLC process and contribute to prepare test data to assist technical analyst to debug and troubleshoot issues.
- Perform unit and integration testing for solutions.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree preferred and at least 7+ years Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne experience, with at least one JDE ERP implementation, including strengths in gathering business requirements, configuration, functional specification and testing required Sales, Inventory Management, Distribution, Pricing and EDI experience is mandatory Significant experience with ERP systems roll-outs, business process re-engineering, conducting user training and providing on-going ERP systems support required Experience of upgrade, migration and integration projects is required Ability to travel up to 20% is required Experience in the manufacturing industry is beneficial Past experience working on JDE UDOs - Watchlist, E1 Pages, Orchestrator solutions and Advanced queries nice to have Nice to have experience of Oracle Cloud technology Experience in CPG/Foodservice industry preferred Good knowledge of JDE Shopfloor, Procurement and Supply Chain Management is a bonus
Knowledge and Skills:
- Comprehensive knowledge of the systems development life cycle, structured analysis and design techniques, user requirements definition, interviewing and data collection techniques PC-based packages used in development and/or support of production systems, conversion activities, testing methodologies, and implementation procedures.
- Strong working knowledge of SCM, Planning, MRP, DRP, MPS, Procurement, Manufacturing business areas.
- The ability to communicate well and demonstrate business knowledge both verbally and in writing, strong time and work management skills and the ability to resolve critical project issues.
- Experience in project planning and control with strong planning and organizational skills.
- Must work well under pressure, meeting multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines.
- Motivational and dynamic leader, driven individual, strong work ethic.
- Thorough knowledge of and understanding of business principles and business processes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels.
- Ability to effectively work with all levels of the IT management team, towards the common goals of the department.
- Ability to effectively communicate with busniess partners includes Business Engagement team and End Users team.
- Ability to work in the company's multiple plants, setup and help design solutions for complex Supply Chain requirements.

- Salary Base Range of $102,800.45-$161,912.20*
