VP, Commercial Finance

Utz Quality Foods is seeking a VP, Commercial Finance to join our team. The Vice President, Commercial Finance, will lead all aspects of financial planning, analysis, and strategy across the commercial functions of the organization. This includes providing actionable insights to Sales, Marketing, and Product Development teams to drive profitable growth and optimize revenue performance. The ideal candidate will be a strategic partner to the executive team, helping guide decision-making in a dynamic, fast-paced snack food manufacturing environment.

VP, Commercial Finance

• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to drive P&L performance and margin improvement.
• Develop pricing strategies and customer profitability models to optimize sales and trade investment.
• Lead financial support for customer negotiations, trade spend ROI analysis, and promotional effectiveness.
• Provide financial insights on product mix, channel strategy, and geographic expansion.
• Lead the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes for all commercial functions.
• Own revenue forecasting models and track performance vs. targets, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Build dashboards and KPIs to support data-driven decision-making across commercial teams.
• Act as a strategic advisor to cross-functional department leaders.
• Present financial results and commercial insights to the executive leadership team and Board of Directors.
• Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams to ensure product costing and inventory strategies support profitability.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of finance professionals.
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA strongly preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive finance experience, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Prior experience in the food & beverage, CPG, or manufacturing sector is required.
• Proven experience in pricing strategy, trade spend analytics, and commercial finance
