Program Logistician Level III

Job Duties (Description of specific duties in a typical workday for this position):



  • Execute Air Force processes related to the 12 Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements and incorporate into acquisition documentation.
  • Conduct Joint Integrated Logistics Assessments per JPEO-CBRND policy.
  • Analyze field documentation to support depot and local-level maintenance planning.
  • Review and comment on technical deliverables, including FRACAS, HMMPs, training packages, test reports, and technical manuals.
  • Maintain and update logistics schedules and program strategies (e.g., LCSP, NET plans, DMSMS plans).
  • Support logistics components in proposals, requirements traceability, and risk management plans.
  • Participate in program milestone reviews, IPTs, and manual validation/verification events.
  • Provide input into acquisition documents like LCCE, LCSP, TEMP, and SEP.
  • Manage logistics risks and Configuration Control Board input.
  • Analyze and improve logistics processes using emerging technologies.
  • Draft and maintain logistics documentation; generate reports and progress tracking.
  • Support design and program reviews ensuring logistics integration throughout the lifecycle.



Requirements (Years of experience, Education, Certifications):



  • Bachelor's degree required (preferred: DAU Program Management Advanced Certification)
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant logistics experience
  • Experience with acquisition lifecycle logistics, ILS elements, and DoD logistics policy and documentation
  • Secret clearance required



Nice to Have:



  • DAU Program Management (Advanced) Certification
  • Experience supporting Air Force or JPEO-CBRND programs
  • Familiarity with DMSMS and obsolescence planning
  • Exposure to FRACAS and technical manual validation
