Analytical Chemist, Intermediate

The Analytical and Materials Characterization Group within the Savannah River National Laboratory is seeking two chemists with an analytical chemistry, radiochemistry, or inorganic background. We are looking for a highly motivated individuals to lead research and development activities related to the processing, science, and characterization of actinides. The ideal candidates would have a strong background in analytical chemistry techniques with experience handling actinides and/or other radioisotopes.

In this role, the candidates will work in a small high-performance team, demonstrate effective communication with others, and apply technical expertise in his/her field of specialization to solve complex scientific and engineering problems.

Successful candidates will also be able to assist in project planning and business growth with a demonstrated experience in preparing technical documents.
