We have an opportunity at our corporate offices in Chicago for a Healthcare Coding Analyst II on our Health Solutions team. This is a hybrid position reporting into our Chicago, IL office, requiring 2 days a week in the office. This position is responsible for supporting the activities of the CPT RESPONSIBILITIES:
May include other responsibilities as assigned REQUIREMENTS: 1. Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred. 2. Minimum 5 years in health care or coding fields. 3. RHIA, RHIT, CCS-P or CPC certification a plus. 4. Strong research and analytical skills, including the ability to independently and efficiently locate information, evaluate source quality and research methodologies, and present findings in a concise, logical manner. 5. Excellent writing skills, with the ability to create a variety of document types (e.g., reports, correspondence, summaries, slide presentations, educational pieces) for different audiences that require minimal revision. 6. Exceptional oral communication skills, with the ability to present clear and cogent arguments. 7. Proactively initiates, develops and maintains effective working relationships with internal and external team members to achieve results. Must be able to quickly secure the trust of physicians, payers and other stakeholders, in relation to an understanding of their business. 8. Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and schedule activities to meet deadlines. 9. Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of knowledge. 10. Demonstrated ability to work independently or part of a team on shared projects 11. Some travel required. This role is an exempt position, and the salary range for this position is $83,721.60 - $110,710.80. This is the lowest to highest salary we believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's pay within the salary range will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to business consideration, geographical location, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
