We seek a strong Critical Care Cardiologist (Board Certified /Board Eligible) with a commitment to excellent patient care and education to be part of our renowned team at NYU Langone Hospital - Long Island (based in Mineola, New York).



  • The skillset required includes the ability to manage mechanical circulatory support (IABP, Impella, ECMO), bedside procedures (pulmonary artery catheter, temporary transvenous pacemaker, thoracentesis, chest tube), echocardiography (TTE/TEE) and point-of-care ultrasound as well as airway management (intubation, invasive/noninvasive ventilation and bronchoscopy).
  • Lead inter-disciplinary care teams in our dedicated cardiac intensive care unit, including our Cardiogenic Shock and PERT team.
  • Academic appointment at the NYU Grossman Long Island School of Medicine commensurate with experience and academic credentials. Teaching responsibilities include medical students, residents and fellows.


NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The starting salary range for the role is 350k - 400k. The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual salary may not fall within the listed salary range; consideration will be made for experience, training, hospital/community need, and other factors.
