On our Water Resources team, you will support multiple Department of Transportation and Municipal projects, working alongside a multidisciplinary team of experienced professionals throughout our entire company.
 Types of water resources projects include, but are not limited to: 
 
 
 Riverine system hydraulics & hydrologyFloodplain analysis, mapping, and flood mitigationWatershed planning and studiesClosed storm system analysis and open channel designsStormwater management facility designErosion and sediment controlGreen infrastructure design
 
 Essential Functions 
 
 
 Deliver world class solutions to our existing portfolio of public/private sector water resources customers Proactively deliver a wide range of water resource projects in accordance with the scope, schedule, and budget set by the Project ManagerProvide excellent client services with a focus on quality and timelinessReport to a Senior Project Manager; meet and work directly with other design team members, project engineers, design technicians, drafters, surveyors, contractors, inspectors, public agency officials, and clientsProvide office and site visit support for assigned and prospective projectsAssist with the development of necessary documentation and preliminary modeling, analysis, and due diligence in support of project pursuitsPerform modeling of complex riverine systems and existing watersheds / storm sewer networks, and develop recommended improvement alternativesPrepare clear and concise drainage reports and hydraulic memoranda documenting analysis approach, findings, and recommendationsAssist with civil engineering plans development using AutoDesk Civil3D, MicroStation, and GIS.Proactively grow in experience to lead tasks. 
 
 Required Skills and Experience 
 
 
 Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Biological Systems EngineeringProficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, Teams)Coursework in Fluid Mechanics, Water Resources Engineering, and/or Urban Hydraulics and HydrologyOne (1)- Four (4) years of experience in water resources engineeringKnowledge of commonly-used hydrologic and hydraulic computational methodologies and analysis tools/trendsStrong organizational, written and verbal communication skills requiredStrong attention to detailAbility to work both collaboratively/in a team environment and independently
 
 Preferred Skills and Experience  
 
 
 Project experience related to hydraulic analysis of riverine systems and culvert/bridge stream crossingsExperience performing field work for in support of various water resources projectsExperience with CAD, MicroStation, ArcGIS and ESRI softwareFloodplain analysis utilizing HEC-RAS (1D) softwareHydrologic analysis utilizing HEC-HMS softwareEngineer in Training (EIT)
