Design, implement, and test network and cybersecurity controls for advanced grid control systems. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to align technical solutions with project requirements. Support commissioning activities and provide technical expertise on-site and remotely. Develop and review technical documentation to ensure quality and clarity. Integrate and verify control systems in both lab and field environments. Participate in design reviews, factory acceptance tests, and project meetings. Strengthen the security of DCS/SCADA/HMI network connections. Provide hands-on support for IT infrastructure, including routers, firewalls, and servers. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your Background
Bachelor's degree in engineering. At least 3 years of relevant experience. Experience with network or OT systems, virtualization, and cybersecurity standards. Familiarity with VLANs, redundant protocols, VPNs, and network access controls. Understanding of Windows OS and industry security frameworks (e.g., NERC CIP, IEC 62443). Exposure to security tools such as NESSUS, Nmap, or similar. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
