The Opportunity: We are seeking successful Financial Consultants for the Metro Detroit, MI area. This role will provide high quality investment consultation services to members and ongoing service to established account holders.

What You'll Do:



  • Provide investment planning services and products through client needs analysis, risk assessment and investment objective considerations.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of product, industry and service features/standards with member impact.
  • Open accounts and place orders in a timely and procedurally correct manner.
  • Conduct member transactions in accordance with all broker/dealer, FINRA, SEC and DFCU Financial rules, regulations and procedures.
  • Work with branch and call center staff to create referral opportunities to attain individual and team goals.
  • Offsite meetings and seminars as required.
  • Saturday and evening hours as needed.


What You'll Need:



  • Business related bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Active series 7, 65/66, Life and Variable Contracts licenses.
  • Three years pertinent experience.
  • Demonstrated record of productivity and integrity.
  • Current Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) designation or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
  • Consistent positive, cooperative, self-motivated, courteous and professional attitude.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including effective verbal and written communication.
