Position Title: Maintenance Journeyman (Class A)
Wage: $28.92 - $35.05/hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 3:00pm - 11:00pm (Monday - Friday) Are your skills not being fully utilized? Reach your maximum potential by working with QPS! QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Maintenance Journeyman at a company in Sheboygan, WI. This is a direct hire position for 2nd shift. Apply now! Enjoy a full union negotiated benefit package (medical, dental, vision, 401k, etc.) Maintenance Journeyman Responsibilities: - Conducting routine inspections and maintenance on manufacturing equipment, building systems, HVAC, and safety systems - Reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and manuals - Diagnosing and repairing mechanical failures, and electrical/control systems - Utilizing hand and power tools, and testing equipment like multimeters and precise gauges - Managing lockout/tagout procedures and adhering to standards - Installing, maintaining, and repairing wiring and electrical systems - Performing light welding and fabrication to repair equipment - Replacing mechanical parts and aligning components - Completing detailed maintenance logs, reports, and work orders - Providing technical guidance to teams - Coordinating maintenance activities with production schedules and other departments Requirements for Maintenance Journeyman: - High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or at least 7+ years of maintenance experience - Ability to analyze and troubleshoot mechanical problems which may include electrical or hydraulic components - Strong technical/computer skills; ability to read equipment manuals - Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate with team - Ability to stand, bend, reach, grab, and twist repetitively and for long periods IND999 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
