Instructional Designer (Articulate Rise)- Hybrid in Seattle, WA

We are working exclusively with our client to identify an Instructional Designer to convert 12-14 PowerPoint presentations of standard operating procedures into interactive eLearning modules for frontline water utility employees. The courses will be 5-15 minutes in duration, developed using Articulate Rise and uploaded into Cornerstone LMS. Key requirements include accessibility features, plain language for ESL employees, diversity and inclusion considerations, and potential mobile device compatibility. Experience Required: Strong Instructional Design experience Advanced skills in eLearning development using Articulate Rise (consultant will use their own tool licenses and laptop) Experience designing customer-facing training, including for ESL participants Strong understanding of DEIB principles Understanding of city government and/or utility operations is strongly preferred Start Date: Late June to early July Duration: 6-8 months; flexible hours Location: Primarily virtual. Strong preference to have someone local to Seattle, WA for occasional onsite meetings (i.e. visiting plants). The pay range for this is $60.00 to $70.00 per hour. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications and specific work location.
