JOB SUMMARY The Coding Manager is responsible to oversee all of the daily functions for their particular area of obligation. Promote and support Teamwork, performance excellence, accountability and professionalism. Lead and support process improvement, lead and support collaboration with internal customers (Clinics, PB Coders/Billers, etc.). Manage within the established Department budget and DNFC/DNFC goals. Ensure the Coding Team have the education and tools they need to successfully perform, to the highest levels of quality and compliance. BENEFITS
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION Required
Bachelor's Degree In Health Information Management or a closely related field or Associate's Degree In Health Information Management or a closely related field
5 years Acute hospital-based coding experience and An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. and
(RHIA) REGD HEALTH INFO ADMINIST or (RHIT) REGD HEALTH INFO TECHNOLO or (CCS) CERT CODING SPECIALIST AHIMA Certified Coding Specialist or (CPMA) Cert Prof Medical Auditor AAPC credential - Certified Professional Medical Auditor or Certified Professional Coder-Hospital (CPC-H), or (CIRCC) Cert Inter Rad Cardio Coder
