Perinatology Sonographer

PRN - Day Shifts

Starting pay - $70.06

Qualifications:

• Satisfactory completion of an accrediting Diagnostic Sonography Program
• Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
• Ability to recognize subtle differences between healthy and pathological areas
• Advanced experience in maternal-fetal medicine sonography
• Strong communication skills

Job Responsibilities:

• Takes initiative to confirm orders are accurate.
• Reviews patient history for necessary information (lab results, surgeries, etc.).
• Uses independent judgment to evaluate images and related data to interpret exams and provides preliminary findings to the perinatologist.
• Other duties as assigned.
