Responsibilities:

Pursuit is a world-class company, and we hire only world-class people. People who aren't afraid to work hard and get their hands dirty - in fact, people who want to work hard. In this Machinist role your responsibilities & activities will include:

  • Print routers as directed by flow coordinators
  • Release castings
  • Direct movement of product with hand truckers and tow motor operators.
  • Perform inventories as needed
  • Become knowledgeable of the Vantage Computer System
  • Scrap processing
  • Interface with supervisors on the off shifts with priorities per the priority sheet written up at the end of A shift
  • Hand off priority sheet to the next shift
  • Have communication with the MRP crib attendant that is coming on when your shift ends to insure parts continue to move
  • Put routers with parts at MRP crib
  • Organize and maintain router file cabinets.
  • Direct hand truckers and tow motor operators to move parts as needed to keep the flow of parts moving.
  • Anything else deemed necessary by the flow coordinators.

Required Qualifications:

  • Able to clock in and out on work orders correctly
  • You'll get your hands dirty
  • Able to stay on task during required hours
  • Must be self-motivated and dependable

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk.

Compensation & Benefits:

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $23.00- No Maximum Rate. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, education, and geographic location.

Pursuit Aerospace also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements, among other things.
