You will be a strategic and results-oriented leader, responsible for driving significant and accelerated growth of our innovative flexible packaging solutions, particularly our market-leading bag-in-box technology, across the North American region. This role demands exceptional strategic agility, a strong focus on driving business acceleration, and the ability to lead complex transformation and integration efforts within a matrix environment, leveraging the broader resources of Sealed Air. You will lead a cross-functional dedicated team and work closely with various internal functions to capitalize on market opportunities within the food, beverage, and other fluid industries, while upholding Liquibox's commitment to quality, reliability, and customer partnership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and execute a transformation and integration strategy, leveraging Liquibox's strengths in bag-in-box technology, sustainability, and innovation while aligning with Sealed Air's broader strategy.
  • Align people, processes, and resources to deliver on growth, cost, and execution goals.
  • Oversee Sales, Marketing, and Product Portfolio functions (direct reports), with dotted-line oversight of Supply Chain, Equipment, Finance, and R&D. Foster a results-driven, collaborative culture.
  • Drive product strategy and innovation across flexible packaging, fitments, equipment, and film structures. Accelerate innovation cycles by leveraging Sealed Air's global resources.
  • Cultivate strategic relationships with customers and partners in food, beverage, and fluid industries, positioning Liquibox as a trusted provider of sustainable packaging solutions.
  • Expand market share and new applications by executing effective sales and marketing strategies, highlighting Liquibox's unique value and sustainability focus.
  • Lead the annual operating plan (AOP), ensuring delivery on financial and operational targets in close collaboration with Finance and functional leaders.
  • Champion continuous improvement across safety, quality, efficiency, service, and sustainability, implementing initiatives that enhance performance.
  • Direct capital investment (CapEx) to support growth and efficiency, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to identify growth opportunities and develop proactive strategies.
  • Negotiate major contracts and partnerships, structuring deals to maximize long-term value.
  • Develop pricing strategies that reflect Liquibox's value proposition and optimize profitability.
  • Communicate business vision, strategy, and performance to senior leadership, collaborating with other Sealed Air units to drive synergies and best practices.
  • Report directly to the North America Food Business General Manager.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within a B2B environment, with significant P&L management responsibility for a business unit or major product line, including a demonstrated track record of accelerating business growth.
  • Proven success in developing and executing business strategies that have driven significant and rapid revenue and profit growth, ideally within the packaging industry or related sectors (e.g., food processing, beverage).
  • Strong understanding of flexible packaging technologies, particularly bag-in-box solutions, and their applications across various industries.
  • Demonstrated commitment to and understanding of sustainability principles and their application within a business context.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop indirect reports and to collaborate effectively within a matrix environment with functions like Supply Chain and Innovation. Experience in leading and integrating teams to achieve accelerated growth objectives is highly preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable plans and drive rapid execution.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders at all levels and influence key stakeholders to support accelerated growth initiatives.
