DLZ is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist in Columbus, OH to lead full-cycle recruitment for architectural and engineering professionals. This role focuses on sourcing top talent, maintaining a strong candidate pipeline, and ensuring a positive recruitment experience. You'll use ATS tools and creative strategies to find and engage qualified candidates.
What You'll Do:
  • Support the end-to-end recruitment process for assigned professional and technical roles, from requisition creation to offer extension and onboarding.
  • Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to understand job requirements, team dynamics, and desired candidate profiles.
  • Develop compelling job descriptions and advertisements that attract qualified candidates.
  • Proactively source passive candidates using a variety of channels, including LinkedIn Recruiter, industry-specific job boards, professional associations, online communities, and referrals.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
  • Screen candidates to assess qualifications, experience, and fit.
  • Manage candidate expectations and ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Collaborate to refine recruitment strategies and overcome hiring challenges for specialized roles.
  • Utilize the Applicant Tracking Systems ATS to track candidate progress, maintain recruitment data, ensure compliance.
  • Participate in career fairs, industry events, and university recruiting initiatives as needed.
  • Act as an ambassador for the firm, effectively communicating its culture, values, and career opportunities.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2 plus years' experience in a recruiting.
  • AEC industry recruiting experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter).
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and support various hiring processes effectively.
