Apply Keck Medicine of USC Hospital Arcadia, California POSITION SUMMARY A RN New Graduate who desires a focused clinical experience to develop evidence-based decision making and communication skills, achieve clinical competency, and utilize the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care to patients. Services provided are for acutely ill patients with medical / surgical diagnoses, which are the primary reasons for admission. The RN New Graduate functions as a member of the interdisciplinary and nursing care teams; carries out established nursing procedures and performs nursing care for patients with complex, multisystem needs. The RN New Graduate demonstrates investment in the overall forward movement of the organization and the assigned nursing unit(s). The RN New Graduate applies critical thinking skills and interpersonal communication skills to achieve appropriate professional relationships, utilizing verbal and non-verbal skills to achieve organizational service goals of customer satisfaction and a positive work environment. Job Requirements Education Minimum - Associate of Science in Nursing Preferred - Bachelor of Science in Nursing Work Experience Minimum *Completion of nursing degree program within 12 months. *Less than 12 months of clinical staff work experience Licenses and Certifications Minimum *A current RN licensure in the State of California is required. *Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. *Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association. Pay Transparency The hourly rate range for this position is $48.41 - $76.69.
