• UT Health Tyler, the flagship hospital of the system, has 502 licensed beds specializing in advanced acute care medicine. Our hospital includes a 24-hour ER with Level 1 trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.

The CSFA functions under the direction of the surgeon during the intraoperative phase of the perioperative experience to provide a safe, efficient, and supportive environment for the surgical patient.

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
• Proficient in scrubbing all specialties with a minimum of 3 years of experience
• Current Certification in Surgical Technology
• Current Certification as a First Assistant
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certified
