City/State Suffolk, VA Work Shift Second (Evenings) Overview: Sentara Obici Hospital, located in Suffolk, Virginia, is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Emergency Room Team. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides basic nursing care under the supervision of an RN or Licensed Independent Practitioner (LIP) in the clinical setting, within the scope of practice dictated by the State Boards of Nursing. The LPN must be detail-oriented, compassionate, and able to handle physically demanding tasks. The LPN is an essential member of the healthcare team offering patient care and supporting higher level nurses and physicians in delivering comprehensive medical services. Position Available Part Time, 24 hours per week 11am - 11pm Education Trade School Graduate License / Certification Virginia or Compact Multi-State LPN License in good standing Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire Experience Prefer a minimum of 6 months of LPN experience in an acute care setting.
